These are photos from camping in the Sierras in September 1998, between Lake Tahoe and Placerville, CA. They're pretty standard issue "I went camping" photos so if you're looking for something more insightful or exotic... better find another webpage, quick. I met up there with my friend Jeff who brought along his roommate's dog.

As an extra added incentive, these photos came out way too dark.

Jeff tends the campfire and manages to not burn the forest down.

Different size tents... mine is the "condominium" on the left.

Jeff's roommate Michael's dog Zoe came along, so here are the photos of the spoiled but good and friendly dog.

Jeff just bought a new truck to take four wheeling to the most dramatic and isolated campsites. But since I brought my definitely 2WD car along he was limited to camping a hundred feet off paved road.
